Technical Options(Europe) Ltd also undertake a complete package in respect of Pre commissioning pipework cleaning, flushing and water treatment including chlorination and ongoing water treatment and maintenance.
Our aim is to achieve high levels of hygiene in water systems, and compliance with all the relevant statutory requirements. These include:
- ACOP L8 for the control of Legionellosis, BS6700:2006 for the disinfection of new systems, and BSRIA BG29/2012 Pre-Commission Cleaning of Pipe work Systems.
- Disinfection of CWS tanks and water systems to relevant Health & Safety Executive specifications i.e. ACOP (L8) 2001.
- Refurbishment of cold water storage tanks including butyl lining and paint coating systems.
- Pre-commission flushing and chemical cleaning of closed circuit systems to the requirements of BSRIA 29/2012
- Disinfection of new Domestic Water Systems to BS6700:2006
- Acid de-scaling of water systems including Boilers, Calorifiers and Cooling Towers.
- Legionella Risk Assessments and Legionella Control as directed by the Health & Safety Publication “Legionnaires’ Disease – The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems” Approved Code of Practice (L8) 2001.
